The individual coming into this role will provide overall leadership, operational direction and accountability for the activities and personnel of the production facility. Establish and sustain a safe, efficient, productive and economical manufacturing operation. This individual will oversee a significant portion of the company’s overall business and will have primary oversight of a quickly growing staff and facility. Requirements: 3-5+ years operations experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment with measurable results Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) Strong Lean Manufacturing Background • Recognized expert in understanding, implementing and teaching: Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, JIT, Kanban, 5S, Visual Management, TPM, Continuous Improvement Processes, Problem Solving, Set-up Reduction, Mistake Proofing, 5S auditing, and Pull Systems Prior P&L experience managing a facility generating over $50MM annually Experience managing a manufacturing facility in excess of 40,000 sq. ft. preferred MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: • Be a champion for change and reduce waste throughout all manufacturing operations through the deployment of the Lean Methodology. • Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work. • Provide direction to production activities to meet manufacturing schedules and production plans. • Coordinate and direct activities that respond to customer and market needs through contact with marketing and sales departments and district sales offices. • Coordinate production and maintenance activities on repairs, changeovers, alterations, etc. • Confer with management and implement changes regarding production capability, tooling, machine replacement, staffing in support of production plans. • Recommend and implement cost-effective procedures, systems, tooling, equipment, etc., to continually improve manufacturing productivity. • Assume responsibility for the proper application of established employee regulations, policies, wage and salary administration policies, and safety land health regulations. • Ensure that company policies, programs and all applicable external legal requirements are followed. • Work closely with the plant management and floor supervisors to establish and implement lean strategy • Ensure plant activities adhere to lean standards and principles and provide a high level of technical and operational recommendations in meeting productivity, material flow, set-up reduction, quality and customer service goals • Measure progress toward improvement goals and reports results through meetings and visual display of information boards. Provide documentation of results and benefits achieved through Lean activities • Ensure on-going education of all plant employees in the concepts and practices of Lean activities. Promotes a continuous learning and improving environment • Share best practice methods with other factory locations • Provide the leadership required to develop and maintain standard Lean work procedures • Lead Kaizen events Promote and facilitate the diagnosis of flow of work and information to identify improvement priorities. Brammo, Inc. an electric vehicle company, is looking for an experienced Finance Director to provide administrative and strategic support to the Company through a variety of Finance functions. Duties and Responsibilities: Cash forecasting and cash management which will include partnering with operational management to develop monthly forecasts in order to determine proper investment of funds, capital-raising strategies, issuance of debt or equity and securing financing for growth and capital expenditures. Direct the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses, that summarize and forecast the organization’s financial position. Direct the organization’s budgets to meet its financial goals. Develop financial business models and cost analytics in order to analyze revenue opportunities. Provide ongoing financial analysis and regular reporting of results and forecasts. Drive and prepare operational and financial analysis, reporting, and metrics in support of strategic business decision making. Partner with executive staff to model profitability of proposed strategies and tactics. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience. • Previous management level accounting experience in manufacturing is a strong plus. • CPA or MBA is preferred. • Previous Big Four or Large Regional public accounting experience is a plus. • Performance oriented, high achievers who are looking to take the next step up in their career. Brammo is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, graphic design and site management. The website content manager will be responsible developing the voice for all aspects of the organization’s online presence. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. The website content manager will also be responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns. The content manager will work closely with technical, business development, and marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are needed. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online marketing and outreach campaigns. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsibilities • Create, develop and manage content for organization’s web presence (requires working with content management software) • Coordinate web projects across departments • Manage the company Wiki • Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties • Working with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties • Copyedit and proofread all web content • Oversee freelancers, including writers, copyeditors and community outreach organizers • Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, and events • Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference • Track and report on all site metrics • Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors Required Skills • Exceptional communication and organizational skills • Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (Joomla, Sharepoint and MediaWiki) • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team • 3-5 years experience managing content and production for high traffic websites • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field • Passion, Integrity and Energy! Brammo Motorsports seeks a creative, self-driven mechanical design engineer to join its small, tightly knit team developing electric powered transportation solutions for the next generation of personal mobility. Two to 5 years experience as a project engineer or similar is required for consideration. Candidate should exhibit strong mechanical design skills and mastery of digital CAD modeling preferably with SolidWorks 2007. Strong knowledge of manufacturing and rapid prototyping processes also required. A sincere interest in electric vehicles and the desire to work on projects to make a positive impact also strongly recommended.
