The Enertia drivetrain and suspension package was carefully engineered to eliminate the need for an intermediate transmission and a suspension linkage. The integration of these two systems is very elegant and simple, maximizing efficiency and reliability and minimizing maintenance. The motor output shaft delivers power to the rear wheel directly through the chain, minimizing noise and maximizing efficiency by eliminating much of the mechanical losses that come inherently with gear boxes. The rear suspension swing arm, which is made from high strength steel tubing, directly actuates the adjustable air shock. The Enertia's motor sits as low as possible directly in line with the riders centerline vertically. The heaviest component parts, the batteries, are cradled in the monocoque frame, down the spine of chassis. Enertia's strength is in the details - It just feels right.
